Pulling into the station

As you know, our AC is kaput. D-e-d dead.Well, guess what? So are our phones. *happy dance* The Boss came in this morning and the phone system is totally fizzucked. He's been on his cell phone with tech support (and tech support with this company is basically two trained monkeys in India or something). We think there may have been a power surge/outage last night and it blew the chip. Wooo hooo! (The phone system is on this thing that looks like an answering machine with a ton of lights.)
But this means that no customers can call me and annoy me.
For the time being. They think that they might have found a solution but I'm crossing my fingers, hoping that it doesn't work. Update at 10:15 a.m. Freakin Boss used his head and found a way to get at least one inbound line working. And guess which desk that phone line goes to? Yeeeeeeah. And I get ONE ring to pick up the line otherwise it dumps the call. We get the new hardware tomorrow. Then all will be back to normal. Goody.
