You know it's bad when Penguins get the clap...SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- San Francisco zoo officials say twelve of their 67 penguins have died of chlamydia.
The odd outbreak was reported at a recent meeting of the city's Joint Zoo Committee.
The zoo's director says the penguins that died could have been infected by humans who breathed on them while carrying the venereal disease. But he also said the most likely source of the disease was seagulls and their droppings.
Zoo workers now believe they have the infection under control.
So what you're saying is that there are seagulls flapping around out there with this VD and dropping VD-shit bombs all over the place? ... This is yet another reason why I hate seagulls.
