Pulling into the station

February 23, 2004

Today, I'm wearing my new cargo pants, my red-tone tapestry shirt, and my new red leather jacket. If I would have thought about it, I would have put on my red shoes, too.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow through Friday. And by supposed to rain, I mean the chance of percipitation is 70% tomorrow, 80% on Wednesday, and dropping to 50% on Thursday, 30% on Friday, and only 20% on Saturday.

I cheated. While I'm only midway through the second season of Sex and the City, and I know reading the spoilers about last night's finale is bad, mmmmkay? I'm reading them anyways! On some parts, I'm sure I'll forget the details by the time I get the last DVD in hand. But it makes me happy to know that Carrie and Big (oh, wait, JOHN) end up together. I know he could be a prick sometimes, but I always liked Big. I need a Big. A*Hem. NOT what I meant, you pervs. I mean, I need someone like that for me. (Sick bastards...)

The boss is gone all week (well, not today). I can dress slobbish and no make-up! Yay! Wait. I do that anyways... Well, I put on half a face. I don't usually do eyes in the car. I've stabbed my eyeball with my liner one too many times, thank you very much.

I bought some canisters of cinnamon rolls. Now, at Cost Plus, they had some boxes of Kings Bread mix. For $4.99, you too could sit up for hours watching bread rise. Maybe next year, I'll have the time to sit up and wait for the bread to rise and such. But this year... Well, when I get home at 10:15 tonight, I'm baking cinnamon-roll versions of Kings Bread with little babies stuck on the bottom sides. At some point, I need to frost and decorate them (I think I can make four, maybe 5, little ones) and get them wrapped up. I even got some cheap-o beads at the Party America store to go with them! And curling ribbon. I just need to get colored sugar. Which I think I can make at home, if Bess has colored dye. Or I might just run by Slaveway on the way home. We'll see. But I have a baggie of little naked babies just waiting to be shoved up the underside of a giant cinnamon roll with purple, green and gold sugar on top. I'm so excited.

With all that talk about food, I'm starving. Boss has gone off to lunch, I assume, with some guy who walked in.

And he took the bathroom key with him. And the women's room is locked. Of course.
